During the pandemic, AAA created a new testing protocol which would see their inspectors conduct a series of surface swab tests during their unannounced hotel visits. The swabs would be analyzed and hotels which passed this test would be rated as “Inspected Clean” by the AAA. The St. Regis Hotel is proud to announce that is has again passed this test and is “Inspected Clean” for the third straight year.

This achievement celebrates businesses that consistently deliver fantastic experiences to travellers and earned great traveler reviews on Tripadvisor over the last 12 months.
The St. Regis Hotel is thrilled to have been named a 2021 AAA/CAA Inspector's Best of Housekeeping hotel. This means that our cleanliness and condition ranks in the top tier of the 27,000 AAA/CAA Inspected and Designated hotels. This award is a tribute to our housekeeping staff who work diligently to maintain the hotel’s exacting standards.
We all travelled less than usual in 2020, but TripAdvisor compiled reviews and feedback from hotels across the world to compile and name its Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards, its highest and most prestigious honour. The St. Regis Hotel is thrilled to have been named one of the top hotels in the whole of Canada in the category of “Best Service” being listed at #14 out of some 3,246 Canadian hotels listed and rated by TripAdvisor.

During this summer's Covid-19 shutdown, the St. Regis Hotel took the opportunituy to make some planned renovations and upgrades to the hotel. Along with the planned upgrade to the air condiition systems, a complete redesign and renovation of the St. Regis Room was completed. It's sure to make the hotel's included breakfast service an even more enjoyable way to start the day.
The days are counting down and the St. Regis Hotel is thrilled to be reopening on September 1st with extensive renovations and some very special offers.
